dc.description.abstractWhile technology is often the focus within learning environments designed to support distributed intelligence, less attention has been paid to the role of the physical space. In response, this symposium brings together seven research strands in which the design of the physical space is a central component of their distributed intelligences and the collaborative learning they support. Through this symposium, participants will get the opportunity to engage with these distributed intelligence designs to understand firsthand the opportunities and challenged associated with the careful integration of space in their own learning designs.en
