Abstract: This paper examines the challenges faced by the children of Persian-speaking immigrants to learn their heritage language, and provides them with a culturally rich, multi-modal pedagogy. Being a complex language, along with the absence of engaging learning resources, makes learning Persian challenging outside of Iran. In solution, an interactive mobile app is proposed, immersing children in a joyful learning experience that seeks to enhance their Persian language acquisition and foster their sense of belonging.
